The earliest mentions are found in the treatises of Greek and Roman physicians. They investigated the &#8220;bear berry&#8221; that was used to treat barbarian tribes. In the Middle Ages, bear ears were used both in Europe and in the Caucasus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bearberry leaves contain many valuable elements with medicinal properties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arbutin helps to cleanse the body by having a diuretic and antiseptic effect.<\/li>\n<li>Organic acids. Ursula prevents inflammation and kills bacteria. Gall stops the development of cancerous formations and premature aging.<\/li>\n<li>Flavonoids protect against the penetration of pathogenic bacteria, as well as microbes and viruses.<\/li>\n<li>Tannins hold the intestines together, which helps prevent and treat diarrhea.<\/li>\n<li>Hydroquinone saturates the blood with oxygen, improves metabolism. It is a safe bleaching agent for the skin.<\/li>\n<li>In addition, the leaves are rich in vitamin C, quercetin, essential oils, and trace elements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of these components act not only independently, but also complement each other&#8217;s effects, helping the body to cope with the disease faster.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Medicinal properties of bearberry<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Due to such a rich composition, bear ears have a number of medicinal properties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disinfects the kidneys. Antiseptics do not allow harmful substances to gain a critical mass, and due to the diuretic effect, the &#8220;enemy&#8221; does not linger in the body.<\/li>\n<li>It fights various inflammations, ranging from conjunctivitis to cystitis and urethritis.<\/li>\n<li>Relieves edema in heart failure, diabetes. The fluid is excreted in an accelerated mode and does not have time to accumulate in the tissues.<\/li>\n<li>Stops diarrhea in gastrointestinal disorders. Therapy is carried out for 10 days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alcohol tincture for prostatitis: <\/strong>20 g of crushed leaves are poured into 100 ml of vodka and insisted for two weeks in a dark place. Take 17-20 drops three times a day, preferably after meals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Urolithiasis.  <\/strong>To alleviate the condition of the patient with urolithiasis, the following infusion is recommended: dried leaves are infused in 250 ml of purified water for 12 hours. Take orally three times a day, one tablespoon.
