The rich chemical composition of the plant is due to the wide range of its beneficial effects.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Medicinal properties and uses<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Infusions and decoctions of hyssop gargle the throat and mouth for bacterial infections.<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol tincture is used to treat diseases of the bronchopulmonary system.<\/li>\n<li>For chronic fatigue and apathy, it is an excellent stimulant. An invigorating drink can be made from hyssop by brewing it like regular tea.<\/li>\n<li>A decoction of hyssop is used to wash wound surfaces of the skin that do not heal for a long time, especially wounds infected with staphylococci.<\/li>\n<li>With infusions of hyssop, women treat vaginal inflammation of bacterial etiology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to use:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Infusion used to treat colds:<\/strong> pour a glass of boiling water for 1 tsp. a of crushed hyssop. Close the container with the infusion tightly with a lid, wrap it with a warm scarf and leave it for 2 hours. Take 1\/3 cup three times a day 0.5 hours before meals. The same remedy can be taken to improve appetite, sweating and hot flashes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alcohol tincture of hyssop: <\/strong>20 g of dry chopped hyssop herb is poured into 200 ml of vodka, cork the bottle and infused in a dark, dry place for 10 days. Then the tincture is filtered through a cotton pad and taken for 1 tsp. 3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. The tincture stimulates appetite, promotes the production of enzymes that break down food in the duodenum, and improves blood aggregation.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Contraindications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pregnancy and lactating women;<\/p>\n<p>Hypertension, epilepsy, acute diseases of the urinary system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In terms of its properties, hyssop is very similar to sage.
