They are used to treat diseases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>urinary and biliary tract;<\/li>\n<li>heart disease accompanied by edema.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Traditional medicine also recommends decoctions and steams of birch leaves for diseases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>stomach, helminthiasis and giardiasis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Outwardly, the infusion of leaves is used for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>lotions and washings for various skin irritations and inflammations;<\/li>\n<li>useful and therapeutic baths with infusion or decoction of the leaves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For diseases of the joints and spine, compresses of fresh birch leaves, rubbing and compresses with birch leaf tincture bring relief.<\/p>\n<p>Lotions with leaf steam improve the condition of the legs in case of varicose veins, reducing swelling and relieving fatigue.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to use:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Decoction: <\/strong>(20.0 &#8211; 200.0): brew 4 teaspoons of birch leaves in a glass of boiling water; When the boiling water has cooled, add 0.2 g of baking soda to dissolve the insoluble betuloretic acid contained in birch leaves. Insist the well-brewed leaves for 6 hours, similar to infusions. Strain and drink in two doses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tincture: <\/strong>rinse 50 g of fresh birch leaves thoroughly and dry on a napkin, pour 0.5 liters of high-quality vodka in a dark bowl (green or brown, made of glass).
