Chamomile officinalis flowers

Chamomile is an excellent remedy in the treatment of flu, colds, inflammation on the skin, etc.

The flowers of the plant are raw materials for a wide variety of products: a decoction of chamomile is prepared from them, alcohol tinctures are made, essential oil is squeezed, extracts are obtained, and so on.

Method of application

Decoction: 4 tbsp. l. steam raw materials with 300 ml of boiling water. Hold in a water bath for 30 minutes, cool, squeeze. The finished product should be taken after meals, half a glass for 2-3 doses a day.

Chamomile is also used in the form of enemas for diseases such as hemorrhoids, colitis. Rinsing is carried out for inflammation of the mucous membranes, gums, pharyngitis, stomatitis, sore throat. Lotions are made on the skin for abscesses, ulcers, eczema.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of individual sensitivity, allergic reactions.
