Medicinal properties
Passionflower is used for:
- insomnia, nervousness, various states of excitement, epilepsy and tetanus.
They treat cardiac neurosis and circulatory instability. Passionflower is also effective for mastopathy, myoma, endometriosis, prostate adenoma, prostatitis. It is used to treat gastritis, peptic ulcer disease of the gastrointestinal tract. Water decoctions and infusions help to restore biorhythms when changing time zones, increase resistance to stress, and cause an aversion to alcohol. Passionflower preparations relieve headaches and unpleasant conditions during menopause.
Method of application
Tincture: add 2 tsp. of young crushed leaves to a 200 ml container, pour vodka and infuse for 14 days at room temperature, excluding sunlight. Strain the mixture. Before use, combine the recommended dose (1 tsp.) with 1/2 tbsp. of water and take before bedtime for 2 weeks.
As a sleeping pill for normalizing blood pressure and treating alcohol addiction, it is recommended to take an infusion of the plant, baths.
Infusion: 1 ч. tablespoon. mix chopped passionflower leaves with 2/3 cup boiling water and leave for 10 minutes. for infusion. Strain the infusion, consume in 30 minutes. to sleep. The course of treatment is 1 month.
Contraindications
should not be taken during pregnancy, breastfeeding, with a tendency to thrombosis, before and after surgery.
