- It relieves symptoms of hemorrhoids and colitis. It is used for spastic colitis and liver diseases. The property of the bark to soften and liquefy feces helps with hemorrhoids and other diseases associated with painful, traumatic stools. In complex therapy it is used to treat gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and hemorrhoids.

Method of application
Tincture: 100 g of bark, poured with 0.5 liters of 40% alcohol, insisted for two weeks, filtered and taken before meals, 2-3 times a day, 20-30 drops dissolved in half a glass of water. The tincture can also be used externally to treat pustules and acne on the skin.
Tea. Take one tablespoon of crushed bark, pour 0.5 liters of boiling water, insist in a thermos for 60 minutes, strain and drink 1-2 glasses per meal. The laxative effect occurs in 8-10 hours.
