Method of application
Infusion: Pour 1 tablespoon of chopped root with 250-300 ml of boiling water, simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Or brew with boiling water and leave for an hour in a thermos. Drink during the day, divided into 5-6 doses. This recipe is used for liver diseases. This infusion is especially useful during rehabilitation after viral hepatitis.
Alcohol tincture: Pour 30 g of chicory root with 150 ml of alcohol and place in a warm place to infuse for 14 days. After straining, it can be used to wash abrasions and wounds. As a general tonic, this tincture is taken after meals, 1 teaspoon once a day.
Contraindications
The use of chicory root is not recommended for varicose veins, hemorrhoids and serious vascular diseases.
