Healing properties
White cinquefoil normalizes the functioning of the endocrine system, eliminates iodine deficiency in the human body, and is indicated for thyroid diseases. It has a tonic, diuretic, sedative effect. It has venotonizing, antibacterial, immunostimulating, wound healing and thyroid stimulating properties.
It helps with joint pain, reduces inflammation in gout, rheumatism, and osteochondrosis. It is effective for the treatment of the gastrointestinal tract. Relieves spasms, colic, normalizes metabolism. The herb has a mild diuretic effect. It treats cardiovascular pathologies, helps with tachycardia, and can be prescribed during the recovery period after a stroke and heart attack.
Methods of application
Alcohol tincture: Pour 50 g of the root with 500 ml of 40% alcohol or vodka, leave for 2-3 weeks in a dark place, strain. Drink 30 drops per 100 ml of water 3 times a day for 20-30 minutes before meals.
Water infusion: Pour 1 tablespoon of chopped roots with 400 ml of boiling water into a thermos (or well wrapped in a jar with a lid), leave for 6-8 hours. Strain. Drink ½ cup 3 times a day before meals.
The dosage for children aged 7-14 years is half of the indicated one.
The minimum course is 1 month. In case of nodular goiter, tumors or other serious diseases, the course is 3 months without a break.
In case of chronic diseases, cinquefoil is drunk for up to 3-6 months in the form of a decoction or tincture.
