Healing properties
In folk medicine, eyebright is used for acute and chronic conjunctivitis, blepharitis, myopathy, glaucoma, inflammation of the lacrimal sacs, eyelid stye, visual impairment, cataracts, corneal opacity, and rhinitis.
Eyebright has anti-inflammatory, astringent effect in case of respiratory infections, bronchopneumonia, sore throat, flu, bronchial asthma, gastroenteritis, colitis, gastric hyposecretion, anorexia, constipation, liver diseases, hepatitis, hepatitis, pain, hysteria, warts, cancer, dermatoses.
Method of application
Infusion: 3 tbsp. spoons of raw materials, pour 200 g of boiling water, leave for 20-30 minutes and strain through 2-3 layers of cheesecloth, bring the volume of the infusion to the original.
For eye diseases, take 1/2 – 2/3 cup 3 times a day before meals. It is used to rinse the eyes 2-3 times a day, it is also instilled and applied to the eyes several times a day with gauze wipes moistened with it.
For diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, take 1/3 cup 5 times a day.
