Healing properties

Aspen bark has a wide range of effects. It is useful for flu, colds and other diseases that cause fever, due to its anti-inflammatory, diaphoretic, diuretic, antibacterial properties and vitamin complex. It strengthens the immune system, suppresses the activity of pathogenic organisms, removes their waste products, as well as other toxins and carcinogens, exhibiting hepatoprotective properties. In addition, it relieves inflammation of internal organs: various parts of the digestive tract (colitis, enteritis), genitourinary system (prostatitis, nephritis, cystitis), muscles and joints (arthritis, sciatica). In general, it has a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract: eliminates flatulence, diarrhea, stimulates the production of gallbladder secretion, promotes the restoration of the mucous membrane in peptic ulcer and gastritis. Due to its ability to lower blood sugar levels, it is used in the treatment of diabetes. Aspen bark also has antiparasitic properties and is used in the treatment of helminthiasis and other parasitic infections. When applied externally, it acts as a hemostatic and disinfectant. It draws out pus. It is used for various wounds (including purulent ones) and skin lesions (acne, furunculosis, blackheads, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis of various origins).

Method of application

Decoction: 1 poon of crushed bark pour 300 ml of water, boil over low heat for 5 minutes, insist 1 hour, strain. Take 100 ml of decoction 3 times a day 15 minutes before meals. Alcohol tincture: 50 g of bark pour 500 ml of 40% alcohol (or vodka).

Insist 2 weeks in a dark place, strain. Take 1 teaspoon (4 ml) per 100 ml of water 3 times a day 15-30 minutes before meals. The course of taking the decoction or tincture is 1 month.

Take a break for 2 weeks and repeat.

Contraindications

Pregnancy and individual intolerance. It is not recommended to use aspen bark for those who suffer from frequent constipation, as the tannins in aspen have an astringent effect.
