Useful properties

The plant has anticonvulsant, antispasmodic, hemostatic, and analgesic effects. It disinfects, increases appetite, and has choleretic and diuretic properties. In women, it stimulates the synthesis of estrogens, increases the tone of the uterus. Men are prescribed for weak libido, erectile dysfunction.

• due to the diuretic effect, it lowers blood pressure;
• eliminates pain in the stomach, intestines, gallbladder caused by spasms of their walls;
• strengthens the walls of veins, arteries and capillaries in atherosclerosis, rosacea, vascular fragility;
• replenishes the lack of estrogen, relieves spasms of hollow organs and blood vessels, which relieves migraines, the severity of PMS or menopausal syndrome;
• the bitterness of the herb increases appetite, has a choleretic property;
• suitable as a tonic for the elimination of asthenic conditions;
• powder disinfects skin lesions with purulent wounds or trophic ulcers;
• The infusion washes the eyes with inflammation of the conjunctiva.

Means of preparation:

Infusion: 1 ч. l. dried herbs in 400 ml of water at a temperature of 25–30 ºC, leave for 8 hours, the liquid is filtered.

Decoction: 1 l. Raw materials are poured with 250 ml of boiling water, simmer on the stove for 5 minutes, insist for a quarter of an hour, filter.

Tincture: 250 ml of vodka + 25 g of dry herbs are infused for 14 days at room temperature.

Contraindications

• with intolerance to the components;
• uterine bleeding;
• gastritis with high acidity;
• gastrointestinal ulcers; hypotension.
