Mallow is rich in vitamins C and A, carotene, plant mucilage, tannins, essential and fatty oils, contains polysaccharides, carotene, alkaloids, flavonoids, polysaccharides. Mallow flowers and leaves, which are harvested during flowering, have medicinal properties. After drying, the flowers change color and turn purple. Basically, mallow is used as an anti-inflammatory and mild laxative effect.
Mallow herb and flowers are used to treat:
