Stinging nettle

Medicinal properties:

• Nettle leaves have multivitamin, anti-inflammatory, choleretic, diuretic, vasoconstrictor effects, reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels, enhance digestive glands activity, reduce flatulence, increase regeneration of gastrointestinal mucosa tissues, and have hemostatic effect. The liver produces one of the most important blood clotting factors, prothrombin. Nettle leaf preparations increase hemoglobin levels, increase the contractility of the uterine smooth muscle similarly to ergot preparations: they enhance muscle contraction, reduce blood discharge, and accelerate mucosal epithelialization.
• The chlorophyll contained in nettle in large quantities has antihypoxic, stimulating and tonic effects, enhances basal metabolism, increases muscle tone of the uterus and intestines, improves cardiovascular and respiratory system functioning, stimulates granulation and epithelialization of affected tissues.
• Nettle leaf preparations are used for hemorrhoids and internal bleeding, atherosclerosis, muscular and joint rheumatism, liver, gallbladder, and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as a lactation enhancer.

Method of application

Infusion. Pour 1 tablespoon of dried nettle leaves with 1 glass of boiling water, leave for an hour, strain. Drink the infusion half an hour before meals, 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day.
Nettle decoction is used to rinse hair 1-2 times a week. 5 tablespoon. herbs, pour 500 ml of water over them, boil over low heat for fifteen to twenty minutes.
This product effectively strengthens hair and helps prevent baldness.

Contraindications:

• Pregnancy;
• individual intolerance;
• in case of gynecological bleeding;
• in patients with polyps and various tumors (etiology) of the ovaries and uterus.
