Ginkgo biloba

The tree has a high capacity for regeneration and survival. These qualities help it survive the winter cold and resist pests. Ginkgo trees in Hiroshima even survived the atomic bombing. The leaf-like foliage on them regenerated within three months. The properties of Ginkgo biloba for humans are similar. It affects the microcirculation of body fluids, metabolic processes at the cellular level, rheological characteristics of blood and vasomotor activity of large vessels.

Useful properties

• has a vasodilating effect;
• has an antihypoxic effect on tissues, increases oxygen and glucose consumption by the brain;
• increases the elasticity and strength of the walls of blood vessels and capillary walls, preventing their fragility;

Method of application

Broth: 1 cup plants in 300 ml of boiling water. Insist for 60 minutes. The resulting broth must be brought to a volume of half a liter. Divide into 3 parts. It is better to use the broth directly between meals.
It can be used as a lotion, compresses to remove inflammatory processes on the skin.

Alcohol tincture: pour 25 g of Ginkgo biloba leaves with 250 g of 40% alcohol and infuse in a dark place for 14 days. After that, shake the tincture, then strain it. It is better to take 10-15 drops per 100 g of water 2 times a day for a month before meals.

To prevent various diseases, it is recommended to consume Ginkgo biloba tea.

Contraindications

• increased susceptibility to allergic reactions;
• a tendency to bleed;
• diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
• pregnancy;
• breastfeeding;
• acute cerebral circulation disorders;
• arterial hypotension;
• myocardial infarction.
