Healing properties

• In our traditional medicine, Baikal skullcap has two main medicinal uses: normalizing heart function and combating hypertension.
• Baikal skullcap is effective for the prevention and treatment of dysbiosis, and acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
• Infusions of Baikal skullcap root are used for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract.
• Baikal skullcap has choleretic properties and is used for the treatment of gallstone disease and other liver and gallbladder diseases.
• Baikal skullcap root is recommended for use in various CNS pathologies and is effective for nervous breakdowns, hysteria, and epilepsy. Infusions of Baikal skullcap root have a calming effect, help relieve headaches, normalize sleep, and help cope with the effects of stress.
• It has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system. It is used for arrhythmia, normalizes blood pressure, and is effective in treating stages 1 and 2 hypertension.
• Baikal skullcap is a natural source of flavonoids. As a result, using Baikal skullcap root will significantly improve overall well-being, strengthen the immune system, and help combat acute respiratory diseases, acute respiratory viral infections, whooping cough, colds, and flu, as well as lung and upper respiratory tract diseases.

Method of application

Alcohol tincture: Pour 50 g of the root with 500 ml of 40% alcohol (or vodka). Insist 2-3 weeks in a dark place, strain. Take 20-30 drops in 50-100 ml of water 3 times a day 15-30 minutes before meals.

Water decoction: Pour 1 teaspoon of chopped roots with 1 glass (200 ml) of water, boil over low heat for 15 minutes, leave for 30 minutes, strain. Take 50 ml of the broth 3-4 times a day for 15-30 minutes before meals.

For vascular cleansing and the prevention of age-related diseases, it is recommended to take a tincture or decoction of Baikal skullcap 2-3 times a year for one month.

In case of chronic severe diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, the course of admission is 3 months without a break. Take a one-month break, then the course can be repeated. Depending on the severity of the disease, several courses can be conducted consecutively.
