Useful properties
Silverweed has proven to be a remedy that helps to heal wounds and stop bleeding. In addition, the herb provides:
- painkillers;
- diuretic;
- expectorant;
- I’m a binder;
- anticarcinogenic;
- general strengthening effect.
Having a mild anticonvulsant effect, the herb relieves spasms of the stomach, blood vessels and other smooth muscles. Normalizes intestinal function. Silverweed works in a cumulative manner and does not cause harm in case of overdose or too strong decoction. It can be given to children in case of nervous cramps, tremors, anxiety, as well as in case of stomach diseases, eczema, bleeding, abrasions. Skinned knees can be washed with the juice, infusion or decoction of the plant.
Method of application
Decoction: Pour 20 g of the crushed mixture with a glass of boiling water and leave for 3-4 hours. Then the broth is filtered. You can take 2 tablespoons at intervals of 2 hours, or drink a quarter of a glass before each meal.
Tea: 2 tablespoon. pour 250 ml of boiling water. Let it brew for 10 minutes. Strain and then take orally in small sips.
Contraindications
severe blood thickening;
constipation and colitis;
cases when people pass kidney stones
hypertensive crisis;
increased acidity (tannins released from the herb can cause irritation and heartburn).
Pregnant and lactating women should drink decoctions with caution.
