Healing properties
Marsh cinquefoil is the main component of herbal medicine regimens for joint and spine diseases, for salt removal and metabolism improvement, for blood and lymph purification, immunity strengthening and recovery from serious illnesses.
An infusion of cinquefoil roots is used for osteochondrosis, rheumatoid polyarthritis, sciatica, sciatica, osteoarthritis, gout, as well as for sprains and bruises.
As an antitumor agent, cinquefoil is used for mammary tumors, nodular goiter and thyroid cysts, and gastrointestinal neoplasms.
Cinquefoil preparations are necessary for malignant blood diseases (leukemia), as well as any conditions accompanied by inflammation of the lymph nodes (lymphadenitis, lymphogranulomatosis). After breast surgery, cinquefoil infusion is used to avoid the development of lymphostasis.
Method of application
Water infusion: Brew 1 tablespoon of chopped roots with 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water, leave for 30 minutes, strain. Take 1 glass of infusion 2 times a day for 15-30 minutes before meals.
Alcohol tincture: Pour 50 g of roots with 500 ml of 40% alcohol (or vodka). Insist 2-3 weeks in a dark place, strain. Take 1 tablespoon of the extract (8 ml) in 50-100 ml of water 3 times a day 15-30 minutes before meals.
