Useful properties
Bitter substances and alkaloids found in bogbean largely determine its beneficial properties for the gastrointestinal tract:
- Tea made from bogbean leaves has a calming effect, soothes the nervous system, and provides pain relief. It is used for stress, emotional overstrain, headache, depression.
- The plant increases appetite. This feature of the watch is used during the recovery period after a serious illness and anorexia.
- Preparations using bogbean increase the tone of the stomach walls, enhance intestinal peristalsis, and normalize the level of gastric juice.
- The tincture helps to improve digestion, thus relieving constipation.
The plant is used for diseases of the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys.
Method of application
Infusion:
10.0 – 200.0 (10 grams of dried leaves of vacha per 200 ml of water). Pour boiling water over the raw materials, then put in a water bath for 15 minutes, leave for 2 hours, cool and strain. Use one tablespoon 3 times a day.
Infusion:
10.0 – 200.0 (10 grams of raw materials per glass of boiling water). Pour boiling water over the medicinal raw material (bogbean leaves), infuse for an hour, cool, strain, and squeeze out the remnants. Bring the resulting volume of infusion to 200 ml of boiling water. Take half a glass 3 times a day half an hour before meals to stimulate appetite.
Alcohol tincture:
10.0 – 50 ml of alcohol, insist for 21 days in a warm, dark place, strain. Take 15 drops 3 times a day for choleretic effect.
Contraindications
Do not take in case of increased secretion of gastric juice, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
