Indications for use

In traditional medicine, all types of Thorowax are used for nervous disorders and feverish conditions.

The plant acts as an anti-inflammatory, wound healing, choleretic, laxative, and enhances the secretion of pancreatic and liver secretions. In the treatment of cholecystitis and hepatitis with Thorowax, an increase in the amount of bile secreted is observed. Changes in its chemical composition affect the growth of pigments and acids.

The flowers and leaves of Thorowax are used for wound healing; the infusion is used to wash pustular eruptions, heal wounds, and relieve skin itching. The roots of Thorowax are effective against malaria.

• The herb successfully reduces fever, fights inflammation, and generally improves well-being in case of colds.

How to use:

General recipe: 1 tbsp. pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water over the herbs. Insist for 5-6 hours. Strain and drink 1/2 cup 3 times daily, 30 or 40 minutes before meals.

Infusion. For headaches. Take 1-2 tablespoons of the herb per 0.25 liters of water, insist in a thermos for 30 minutes. Take 1/2 – 1/3 cup 3-4 times daily 20 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is from one and a half to two months.

Infusion. In cholecystitis, hepatitis. 3 tablespoon. herbs pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, insist for 4 hours. Strain. Take 80 ml (1/3) of a glass three times a day.

Decoction. For migraines. 2 tablespoon. put the herbs in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of boiling water, cover with a lid. Boil over low heat until the volume of liquid is reduced to half. Take 1/2 cup of this decoction 15-30 minutes before meals 3 times a day.

Tincture. In case of nervous diseases, flu, hypertension. To prepare the tincture, place 50 g of the herb in an enamel bowl, add 0.5 l of vodka, leave for 10-14 days in a darkened place, strain. Take 25-30 drops 4 times a day before meals.

Contraindications:

Do not take in case of gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, low acidity, cholelithiasis, individual intolerance.
