Ground Ivy

Properties and applications:

Thanks to its rich chemical composition, Ground Ivy has diuretic and choleretic effects, helps treat skin diseases, and serves as an anti-inflammatory, expectorant, anthelmintic, and analgesic agent, as well as an antiseptic.

The benefits of this herb are noticeable in such ailments:

• gastritis, virazca, catarrh of the spleen;
• ARI, pneumonia, bronchitis, sore throat;
• thrombophlebitis;
• headache and toothache;
• bronchial asthma;
• mastopathy;
• gout;
• psoriasis, eczema, scabies, etc.

Ground Ivy improves appetite and regulates metabolism. Their compresses contribute to the restoration of bone tissue, so they are used for fractures. The effectiveness of this versatile plant in treating liver cancer and cirrhosis has been proven.

How to use:

This tincture is used for bronchitis, pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis, as well as cystitis, cholelithiasis, and bronchial asthma:

1 l. crushed raw materials are poured with 3 cups of boiling water; infuse for an hour, then filter; take 2 hours before meals, drinking 2 l. up to 4 times a day.

For the treatment of cough: 1 l. of dried herb is poured with a glass of boiling water; insist 20 minutes. and strain; take 50 ml after meals, 3-4 times a day.

For ailments of the kidneys and bladder, an alcohol tincture is made: 10 g of grass is poured into 0.1 liters of 40% alcohol; insist 8-10 days in a dark place, shake regularly; then filtered and protected from light; Drink three times a day, before meals. A single dose is 15-20 drops.

Contraindications:

• increased blood clotting;
• renal failure;
• reduced secretion of gastric juice;
