Lovage grass

Useful properties:

• Essential oil. It disinfects, relieves inflammation, accelerates tissue regeneration and removes toxins.
• Terpineol. Destroys pathogenic microbes.
• Cineol. Heals microtraumas, eliminates swelling and suppuration.
• Organic acids (malic, acetic, benzoic, isovaleric). They normalize digestion, suppress the development of fungi and bacteria.
• Sesquiterpenes. It removes phlegm, accelerates urine output, and destroys worms.
• Furocoumarin. Tones blood vessels, prevents blood clots.
• Carvacrol. It kills pathogenic microflora in the intestine and prevents the growth of atypical cells.
• Tannins. They fight infections, accelerate wound healing, and strengthen blood vessels.

Contraindications

• Exacerbation of gastric ulcer. Furocoumarin in the plant can cause gastric bleeding.
• Hemorrhoids. Lovage tones blood vessels, which can lead to enlarged hemorrhoids.
• Nephritis in the acute stage. Diuretics in the plant create an unnecessary burden on the kidneys.
• Allergy. People who are intolerant to carrots, cilantro, celery, parsnips and dill may have similar reactions to lovage.
• Pregnancy. By stimulating blood flow to the pelvic organs, the herb provokes miscarriage.
• Heavy menstruation. By dilating blood vessels, the plant increases bleeding.
