Healing properties

The composition of lungwort includes tannins, mucilages, tannins, saponins, iron, alkaloids, anthocyanins, flavonoids, silicic and ascorbic acid, carotene, rutin and other substances useful for humans. Tannins and saponins act as an expectorant and emollient that relieves well-being in any respiratory ailment.

Lungwort-based products have:

• astringent,
• anti-inflammatory,
• diuretic
• bactericidal,
• and wound healing effect, and also contain silicon compounds that stimulate immunity and enhance the protective properties of the body.

Lungwort successfully treats diarrhea, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. Powder from dried herbs is sprinkled on wounds to stop bleeding. Lungwort is actively used as a diuretic, especially for potassium deficiency in the body, which is useful for kidney and bladder diseases, as well as urolithiasis. Lungwort infusion is used to restore the quantitative and qualitative composition of the blood in internal, nasal and hemorrhoidal bleeding.

How to use:

Herbal infusion: 2 tbsp. l. Pour 2 cups of hot water (400 ml) over tablespoons of raw materials, boil for 10-15 minutes, cool, strain and take 1-1/2 cups 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Store in the refrigerator, in a dark container.

A simple decoction of the herb: 10 g of the herb per glass of water; Brew the herb with boiling water, prepare a decoction. Take 1 spoon 3 times a day.

Contraindications

Children (up to 3 years old), increased blood clotting, individual intolerance. With caution, you should use products based on lungwort officinalis for pregnant and lactating women.
