Medicinal properties
Rhodiola rosea (Golden Root) is highly valued in both official and folk medicine for its powerful adaptogenic properties. Rhodiola preparations are excellent for relieving fatigue and increasing efficiency.
Golden root is used for nervous exhaustion, neurasthenia, neuroses, hypotension, vegetative-vascular dystonia, schizophrenia, as well as for gastrointestinal disorders, uterine bleeding, heart weakness, cold fever, and restoration of muscle strength after overwork. Rhodiola rosea will provide powerful support after serious illnesses and prolonged treatment with chemicals, and accelerate recovery.
Golden root preparations activate thyroid function, normalize sleep and improve appetite. In addition, the anti-tuberculosis and anti-tumor activity of Rhodiola has been proven; its preparations increase the oxygen content in the cells of all organs and tissues, which, in fact, gives such a high therapeutic effect.
Tincture or water infusion of Rhodiola rosea roots is especially recommended for use in the complex therapy of male diseases associated with decreased erectile function, age-related or stress-related impotence, male infertility caused by decreased sperm motility and androgen deficiency.
Method of application
Water infusion: Brew 1 teaspoon of crushed root with 1 cup of boiling water, leave for 4 hours and take a quarter cup of the infusion 2-3 times a day 15-30 minutes before meals.
Alcohol tincture: Pour 50 g of rhodiola roots with 0.5 liters of 40% alcohol, leave for 2-3 weeks in a dark place, strain. Take 20-30 drops in 50-100 ml of water 3 times a day 15-30 minutes before meals.
As an immunostimulant, it is enough to take a tincture or aqueous infusion of Rhodiola 2 times a year for a course of 1 month. In the case of the above chronic diseases, the number of courses can be increased to 6 with a minimum break between courses of 2 weeks.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, hypertension, fever, emotional agitation, individual intolerance.
